Why American Heart? Life is Why! Holding to the AHA mission statement in all we do, preserving life is our highest priority!

American Heart encourages you to discover your WHY and share it with others. Ask yourself what are the moments, people, and experiences you live for? Why am I partnering with AHA to help save lives? Why is your cardiovascular care important to me? As American Heart so boldly declares the answer to these questions is your WHY.

American Stroke Association Course

For 25 years (2023) ASA has worked to turn the tide on stroke - in an era that may be among the most pivotal in the field’s history. “The rapid change in stroke care now is similar to what was seen 20 or more years ago around heart attaks in cardiology,” said neurologist Mitchell Elkin, M.D., M.S., FAHA, on the American Stroke website. He is the American Heart Association’s chief clinical science officer.

Every day, the actions of the ASA are a powerful force in ensuring that mothers and fathers, sisters and brothers, daughters and sons who have a stroke get timely, optimal care, support, essential rehabilitative services and more.
